Temporary Pavilion - Dundee Waterfront 2013

 

Dundee is an exciting city to be in just now with the V&A due to open in a few years along with the redevelopment of the entire waterfront. For this brief I was required to design a temporary pavilion 5mx5mx4m which would reflect the ever changing site down by the water.

 

Looking into the theme of deconstruction/reconstruction I began to explore the infinity sign further looking at the Infinity bridge - which was the result of a design competition and other temporary pavilion designs from the Serpintine.
